The Preschool is a happy, safe,
and loving Christian environment for children from age 18 months through five
years. We are meeting the need in our area for
full-day, full year preschool where
education, including Christian education is the
central part of our mission. Rather than a day care,
we are a school with convenient hours, helping children reach their full
potential for school readiness.

Vision
The vision is for The Preschool to be a happy, safe, and loving
environment providing the highest quality care possible to
preschool-aged children. Rather than simply operating a day care, we
envision a facility where education, including Christian education, is
an essential component of The Preschool where the children we teach will
reach their full potential in readiness for school.

Our Staff
Our staff bring exciting ideas and years of experience in preschool
education to our school. But don't take our word for it. In an report for the State of Georgia, the
licensing inspector said of her visit to The Preschool,
"The teachers were enthusiastically
involved with the children.
This facility provides a pleasant, warm and
stimulating environment."
Our Curriculum
We emphasize that we are a preschool rather than
day care as we
use The Links to Literacy curriculum (enhanced with Christian education) to make
sure the children are prepared for Kindergarten.
Our brochure is available online as
an Adobe PDF file.
We do not discriminate
King of Peace Episcopal Day School employs staff and admits students of any
race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges,
programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to the
students at the school. The school does not discriminate on the basis of
race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational
policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, and other
school-administered programs.
About the facility
The building for the new preschool (as well as the church) is at 6230 Laurel Island Parkway, just west of Camden County High
School. Take an online tour.
Future Plans
King of Peace Episcopal Church created the Day School as an independent
non-profit corporation to meet the growing need in Camden County for
education alternatives. In our long-range planning, we foresee expanding
into primary school grades and beyond. We are working on a feasibility study for expanding into a private school.
In 2002, we received a grant from the Episcopal Church Women's United
Thank Offering.
The $24,000 allowed us to better outfit The Preschool as the building was
being built.
Above is our April of 2008 video thank you for the grant, which gives a good
glimpse
into King of Peace Episcopal Day School.
